UCF Reflecting Pond in front of Millican Hall

Located in Orlando, the University of Central Florida is the largest university in the country, with a student population that has grown to more than 60,000 since it opened its doors only 50 years ago. Some of the main buildings of the campus are situated around the university’s iconic UCF Reflecting Pond fountain, which had fallen into disrepair. Following a complete renovation, the 18,000-square-foot fountain now includes fully automated nozzles with individual switches, transforming the pond into a dynamic water feature complete with color-changing LED lighting that can be programmed for special occasions. The new plumbing, structural floor, and advanced filtration were all designed to modernize UCF’s Reflecting Pond and see the university’s symbol of pride endure for the next 50 years and beyond.
