Island Waterpark at Showboat Hotel Atlantic City

Located on the Atlantic City boardwalk, the Showboat Hotel went through a major transformation to reinvigorate tourism and attract more families with the development of a 100,000-square-foot indoor waterpark. With a retractable glass-paned roof, Island Waterpark at Showboat will operate year-round and feature some of the best amenities in the area. Martin Aquatic led the conceptual efforts of the waterpark, planning a unique mix of family-friendly areas along with adult zones that can be transformed after dark to nighttime party spaces.

Bordered by an assortment of restaurants, bars, and shops, guests can experience exhilarating slides, lavish pools and lazy river, an interactive splash pad, and amazing surf simulators. Two iconic slide structures will offer multi-person family innertube slides, as well as thrilling head-first mat racers for friendly competitive fun. A 500-foot-long lazy river encircles Slide Island, a multi-level structure featuring 5 additional body slides, and hundreds of spraying elements. Island Waterpark at Showboat will also include two swimming pools, a double FlowRider surf simulator, and a toddler play area.
