Royal Caribbean's Independence of the Seas Cruise Ship
Miami, Florida, Cape Liberty, New Jersey, and South Hampton, England
Designed 2017
Opened 2018

Sailing the Caribbean and Europe, the renovated Independence of the Seas is another Royal Caribbean ship to receive a bigger and better kids play area, known as Splashaway Bay. Featuring two slides and a giant drench bucket, this aquatic playground offers even more fun with its water cannons, spray fountains, waterfalls, and a pool for even the littlest cruisers. The deck also transformed a deep pool into a more shallow kids pool that would create a safe space as well as allow the ship to save on water weight.
