Martin Aquatic Makes List of Top 100 Best Companies in Florida 2020

Recognizing 100 businesses statewide in small, medium, and large employer categories, Florida Trend magazine is celebrating Florida’s Best Companies To Work For in its August issue, including Orlando-based Martin Aquatic Design & Engineering.

To participate in the competition, Martin Aquatic underwent an evaluation of workplace policies, practices, philosophy, systems and demographics. The process also included a survey to measure employee satisfaction. The combined scores determined the top companies and the final ranking.

In a year in which every business around the world has been tested and challenged, the team at Martin Aquatic has supported one another by finding new tools to collaborate while working remotely and staying flexible while still delivering on client requests.

Through this season, we’ve continued to make time for celebrating our team, and one of those ways has been through our Employee of the Month program. Voted on by their peers, our first three recipients of the Employee of the Month were Production Director Luke Johnston, Director of Design Technologies Joel Roberts, and Themed Entertainment Manager Diego Cordova. These three team members are shining examples of the outstanding work ethic and passion that drive so many of us here at Martin Aquatic, and we are proud to recognize them and their contributions.

We’ve also used this time to connect and bond as a team—taking Friday afternoons to enjoy each other’s company with socially-distant happy hours in the office and company-provided lunches to support our local eateries.

To reward the entire team for their dedication during the first half of the year, Martin Aquatic is taking this week for company-wide vacation. And we couldn’t be more excited to kick it off than with this prestigious honor of being named one of Florida’s Best Companies to Work For.
