Newsletter: Martin Aquatic Company-Wide Vacation in July and New Projects

These past few months have been some of the most challenging in our firm’s history, but through it all, our team here at Martin Aquatic has risen to the occasion. From working-at-home setups to virtual client consultations and meeting deliverables for projects with accelerated timelines, our employees have helped projects stay on track. While they’ve kept busy servicing the needs of our partners, one thing that our leadership team recognized is the need for a much-deserved break.

That’s why for the week of July 27-31, we will be closing our office as a company-wide summer vacation for our team. This will allow Martin Aquatic employees an opportunity for renewal and relaxation, during a time where they are not under quarantine and able to enjoy the summer sun with their families in a safe way.

In other news...

Construction is beginning next week on the 22-acre renovation of the Riverfront Esplanade in Daytona Beach, Florida, that will include fountains, plazas, pond ecosystems, green spaces, and a splash pad. Martin Aquatic joined the design team led by Marquis Latimer + Halback to create distinct water features as part of each “zone” within the master plan.

Separate Martin Aquatic features highlight the park’s Family + Garden zone, including a focal water feature that cascades multiple levels down more than 300 feet as well as a children’s splash pad with Life Floor safety surfacing. Additionally, Martin Aquatic has engineered three stormwater basins which serve as the central focus of the area’s “Fountain Plaza.”
