Our Commitment to Serving Clients During the Coronavirus Crisis

To all of our clients, colleagues, and friends,

Like the entire world, our team has been monitoring the news reports and government recommendations regarding the Coronavirus pandemic. We recognized several weeks ago that we should be preparing for a scenario such as this, and we are taking the necessary steps to ensure we have zero disruption in our business operations so as to continue providing the highest level of service to our clients.

Our number one priority is the health and safety of our team and their families. As of March 17th, 2020, the majority of our staff have transitioned to a Work-from-Home structure. Martin Aquatic remains open, and we will have a team of core leaders onsite as long as no danger is present to them or their families. With that, we have instituted a commercial travel suspension until it is deemed safe to do so again. Additionally, we have instituted CDC recommended enhanced health protocol for employees in and out of the office. We understand this is a great inconvenience to our clients and project teams. Still, we are committed to providing world-class design, engineering, and field support via virtual meetings and conferences.

As a firm, we have operated via web-based platforms, servers, and various SaaS applications for our projects for many years. We will be using Zoom for video conferences and working with our development partners to communicate via their preferred virtual method. With clients across the globe, we are accustomed to working from a hotel room or—as is now the case—a makeshift home office. You can expect our team to be working regular business hours, but we would ask a bit of grace if you hear that noisy child in the background or if a team member misses a meeting while working through family or child care commitments.

We look forward to video conferencing with our development partners and working through virtual design charrettes in this unprecedented time. Our talented team of aquatic designers is ready to support our clients all over the world.

Our thoughts and prayers are with those presently impacted. We know that our team and the design community we are a part of will rally together to support each other and navigate this new way to work, for however long it lasts.

Stay safe and God bless,
Josh Martin
