Baha Mar
Nassau, Bahamas
Designed 2013
Opened 2017
Located in Nassau, Bahamas, Baha Mar Resort features luxury amenities stretched across its 1,000-acre grounds, including 11 swimming pools designed by Martin Aquatic. The property is comprised of three distinct hotel chains catering to diverse groups of travelers, from family-friendly to upscale, with pools suited to match those brands and solely dedicated to the guests of each hotel.
While each aquatic amenity has its own unique charm, one 13,000-square-foot pool features a rock jump from 15 feet into a water well of 10 feet, which was inspired by the iconic Bahamian underwater marvel, Dean’s Blue Hole. The pool also includes a rocky waterfall adjacent to a special pool area called the Sanctuary where native Caribbean sea life swim past large underwater windows. The main pool outside of the casino is two-tiered with an upper pool that offers infinity-edge views of the ocean and cascades into an expansive lower pool with a swim-up bar. Additional pools offer private rain cabanas, grottos, zero entry, islands, sunshelves, and spas.
