Winter Haven Recreation and Cultural Center

Located in Central Florida, the Winter Haven Recreation and Cultural Center brings together valuable community facilities such as athletic gyms and sports courts with a library branch and two family-friendly aquatic amenities. The facility is anchored by a 3,300-sqare-foot multipurpose pool that starts with a zero-entry and gradually slopes deeper to provide two 75-foot lap lanes. With bench seating along the side as well as playful bubbler nozzles and leaping jets to create a fun splashing shallow end for young swimmers, this pool offers a wonderful place to beat the Florida heat. Adjacent to the pool is a 1,600-square-foot splash pad with vertical spraying nozzles and toy elements that shower visitors in refreshing water atop a zero-depth deck with Life Floor safety surfacing.
