Celebrating Our Year in Island Style – Mele Kaliki-MARTIN!
We’re raising a [tiki] glass to our partners and the hard-working Martin Aquatic family for the success of this past year.
Looking back on the projects that opened and kicked off throughout 2023, we know we wouldn’t have experienced the same success without the partners and clients dreaming up Aquatic Leisure Destinations throughout the world. Those destinations became tropical retreats at luxury resorts, and island-themed waterparks on the northeast coast. It’s no wonder that by December, we were dreaming of waves upon a tropical shore.
To share those island vibes with our partners, our elves on the marketing team set out to craft and curate a gift reminiscent of a true tiki bar. Custom glasses showcasing Martin Aquatic’s water features and pools, the perfect swizzle stick to mix up a crafted cocktail, and of course, a paper umbrella to top it off. Many, many hands were involved in the production of each lovingly-packed box, not to mention some taste-testers along the way! After we dreamed up some perfectly-imaginary tiki bars inspired by our projects, The Blue Mar-Tiki was born.
As part of our Christmas gift to you, please join us inside The Blue Mar-Tiki (found at verymerrymartin.com), where you can sample inspired recipes that will transform even ordinary aquatic features to the tropics. Each of our marquee projects from this year has received “tiki-treatment” along with a special cocktail to put you in an island state of mind.
Shake up a “Hideaway Hurricane” (based on our pools at Royal Caribbean’s soon-to-open Hideaway Beach at Perfect Day at CocoCay) or even mix together the “Erupting Volcano’s Rum Punch” (inspired by our renovations to Universal’s Volcano Bay waterpark). Whatever drink you choose, please enjoy responsibly, and allow the exotic flavors to put you into the holiday “spirit!”
Most importantly, we want to offer our sincere appreciation for all of our clients and partners who make what we do at Martin Aquatic so fun and rewarding. We have a truly talented team that helps develop incredible Aquatic Leisure Destinations, and we are proud to work alongside of you.
