Headlands Surf Lodge

Located south of Salt Lake City, the Headlands Surf Lodge is the anchor amenity on an eight-acre mixed-use development with townhomes, apartments, retail and restaurants. Using Endless Surf technology and powered by Blue Mar Basins, the surf lagoon spans more than three acres of water. It was announced that USA Surfing has partnered with the developers to make this surf park in Draper the official training center for USA Surfing’s National Team when it opens ahead of the Los Angeles 2028 Olympic Games. The size of this wave is an ES48, meaning that there are 48 pneumatic wave-generating chambers that can push a wave ride time for up to 25 seconds across the basin. In addition to the surf lagoon, additional supporting swim amenities include five surrounding hot tubs and a 1,200-square-foot Family Pool with a large sunshelf, underwater bench, and infinity edge where all views look at the surf lagoon.
