2023 Dream Designs Honors Martin Aquatic’s project Margaritaville Beach Resort
The hotel’s “Fins Up Waterpark” won the annual award from trade publication Aquatics International.
As part of its July issue, Aquatics International recognized several pool and waterpark projects from around the world as part of its “2023 Dream Designs,” highlighting Margaritaville Beach Resort in Nassau, Bahamas. This win represents the 10th consecutive year that a Martin Aquatic project has won the Dream Designs Award.
The sprawling poolscape at Margaritaville is named “Fins Up Waterpark,” and thanks to its prime position adjacent to Nassau’s harbor, it hosts both guests of the resort and cruise passengers who want to purchase day passes. With 65,000 square feet of space, the waterpark offers a large zero-entry pool, family-friendly waterslides by WhiteWater, a lazy river, a deep-water cliff jump, a Flow Rider surf simulator, and a fun climbable play structure atop Life Floor safety surfacing.
Away from the fun of the waterpark, the resort also hosts an adult-only getaway atop the third floor. The rooftop deck features a Myrtha stainless steel pool and spa that offer their own infinity edge views.
While the main hotel tower and its connected waterpark draw the bulk of the attention, the property also features longer-stay, multi-bedroom suites at One Particular Harbor. This building boasts its own amenities, including a private pool designed by Martin Aquatic for those residential units.
